SKECHERS SUNDOWN FESTIVAL – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (HAW PAR VILLA)
By entering the grounds of Haw Par Villa for Skechers Sundown Festival (“Festival”), you agree to assume full responsibility and all risks for any loss, damage, or injury to yourself, your property, or any person under your care. You also agree to be liable for any costs or expenses that may arise from such incidents.
Furthermore, to the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless Skechers Sundown Festival, its organisers (Red Spade Entertainment Pte Ltd), Haw Par Villa, its site owner/operator, and their respective officers, employees, and agents from and against:
- (a) all claims, demands, legal actions, liabilities, judgments, costs (including legal fees), damages, and expenses incurred in connection with your entry, conduct, or actions within the Festival grounds; and
- (b) any damage caused by you (whether intentional or accidental) to the venue, including its structures, installations, facilities, artworks, and especially the historic sculptures and cultural assets of Haw Par Villa, as well as any adjoining areas and properties therein.
For the avoidance of doubt, any assistance provided to you on-site (including medical aid, first aid, or incident response) is offered on a discretionary and compassionate basis only, and shall not be construed as an admission of liability by Skechers Sundown Festival, Haw Par Villa, or their affiliates for any resulting loss, injury, or damage.
Due to the heritage status and fragility of certain areas and artefacts, you are strictly prohibited from climbing, leaning on, touching, or interfering with the statues, dioramas, or restricted structures within Haw Par Villa. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the Festival grounds and possible legal action.
Skechers Sundown Festival and Haw Par Villa reserve the right to suspend, halt, or restrict any activity, deny entry, or request your immediate departure from the premises should your behavior be deemed to breach, or likely breach, any of the above terms or pose a risk to public safety or cultural preservation.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
