Sarah Deshita

Sarah Deshita has been involved in music since the beginning of her career. Starting out as a radio DJ in one of Indonesia’s prominent radio she quickly became a music director. Sarah later on joined Ismaya Live in 2013 birthing many notable music festivals which aligns with her passion for attending music festivals around the globe. She created We The Fest in 2014, simply hoping to put Indonesia in the global market. With the festival she initiated a program called We The Change, hoping to spark others to make more eco-conscious events, one step at a time.

Cheang Kok Chung

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Singapore Environment Council (SEC)

Prior to joining the SEC, Kok Chung was the Deputy Director-General of Environment Protection of Singapore’s National Environment Agency. He was concurrently the Director of the Resource & Sustainability Group, responsible for promoting environmental sustainability. The group’s work entails the a) mitigation of greenhouse gas emissions, b) sustainable management of wastes, and c) improving resource efficiency. He had also previously served at the Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Ministry of Defence, the Competition Commission and the Civil Service College.

WONG CHIU MAN

WOW Architects | Warner Wong Design

Chiu Man is the co-founder of WOW Architects|Warner Wong Design. Together with late Maria Warner Wong, he has been at the forefront of regenerative and sustainable design practices in creating highly immersive built environments that integrates architecture, landscape and interior design with an ecological emphasis. WOW’s projects are located in many Asian, East African and Middle Eastern countries and focuses on creating highly sensory experiences that are rooted in culture memory and place. He is a graduate of USC and The Graduate School of Design, Harvard University, and a keen and engaged supporter of design education and citizen awareness of global ecological issues.

Brian Ho is Vice President of Sustainability at Resorts World Sentosa, driving sustainability strategy, innovation, and integration across operations. With over 20 years of experience in Asia-Pacific, he has advised governments, businesses, and international bodies on sustainability and governance. Formerly a consulting partner, he’s worked across Beijing, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Brian holds a Master of Social Sciences and is pursuing a doctorate in corporate governance and sustainability. He actively partners with regional institutions to promote sustainability education and development initiatives.

Tim Shiel is a musician, broadcaster, and artist advocate from Naarm/Melbourne. Known for his intuitive approach to music has led him to collaborate with top Australian artists and perform globally. He’s a familiar voice on triple j, Double J, and 3RRR and for his ambient soundtracks for award-winning video games . Tim is also the Community Organiser at Green Music Australia, using music to drive climate action.

EWA WOJKOWSKA

KOPERNIK & MUSIC DECLARES EMERGENCY (INDONESIA)

After a decade at the UN and World Bank, Ewa co-founded Kopernik, a Bali-based innovation lab solving social and environmental challenges through experimentation. She leads the Indonesian chapter of Music Declares Emergency, uniting artists to push for climate action. Ewa also co-created the Pulau Plastik campaign and hosts the Soundtrack of Resistance podcast.

QIYUN WOO

Qiyun is a Singapore-based climate activist and creative strategist blending art, science, and policy to make sustainability engaging and impactful. She’s the force behind The Weird and Wild, an Instagram platform turning complex climate topics into bold, illustrated storytelling. Named a National Geographic Explorer and BBC 100 Women honouree, Qiyun’s work bridges grassroots advocacy and global influence.

NAVICULA MUSIC DECLARES EMERGENCY (INDONESIA

Robi is the frontman of Navicula, Bali’s iconic rock band blending music with activism to spark social and environmental change. He heads Music Declares Emergency Indonesia, leading a collective of artists producing climate-focused tracks across the country. Robi also stars in Netflix’s Plastic Island and teaches permaculture across Southeast Asia.

Olivia is the Asia lead for Bye Bye Plastic Foundation, rallying the electronic music world to eliminate single-use plastics. With over a decade in music journalism, brand strategy, and sustainability, she crafts stories that shift mindsets and inspire action. Her work spans festivals, climate campaigns, and cultural movements across the region.

Marc is a chemical engineer by training and has spent the last 15 years working in sustainability. He has worked with the world's largest companies and governments on decarbonization, climate change strategy, and climate policy frameworks.

Jocelle Koh is Label Leader for Believe's Malaysia and Singapore teams. She writes frequently about the intersections between Asian music and environmentalism/sustainability on her media platform Asian Pop Weekly and has supported Believe's ambassador program since 2020.
